The Honeywell Home LYNXRCHKIT-HC Lynx Series Alarm 24 Hour Battery is for the L3000 Lynx Panel Only. The Honeywell LYNXRCHKIT-HC 300-03865 Lynx Touch Battery Back-Up provides up to 24 hours of power in the event of an AC Power loss and should be replaced about every 5 years depending on how often you experience power outages. The alarm panel will indicate a “LOW BATTERY” trouble signal, however if your alarm system recently lost power, it could take up to 48 hours to clear the trouble once power was restored. Once the battery is replaced, it may also take up to 48 hours to clean this trouble once the battery is fully charged.
